Emergency Department Coder

Independent contractor will be responsible for coding E/M levels in an emergency department facility and/or a professional setting. Contractor will be required to sign engagement agreement, HIPAA confidentiality document and provide form W-9.

Must have experience coding a variety of minor procedures performed in the ED setting, including: Laceration repairs, Infusions, Injections, Casting/Strapping. Requires knowledge of both 1995 & 1997 E/M coding documentation guidelines.
