Steven Russell is the Senior Vice President, Client Relations and US Operations. In his role, he is the executive responsible for growth and client expansion who ensures that Aviacode is meeting our clients’ needs with regards to account management, communications and execution throughout the lifecycle.

Steven has been with Aviacode since 2016. He has 25+ years of executive leadership experience in Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and Corporate Development in commercial healthcare IT. He has also led sales organizations in the U.S. and globally, and has been a senior executive with public companies as well as growth-oriented private equity owned companies in the healthcare sector that include QuadraMed, Aperio, Quantros, and Leidos Health.

Shamim Pathan is the Vice President of Global Operations. In his role, he is responsible for overseeing the work of the global services staff, and ensuring that they deliver the high quality and production standards for our client partners.

Shamim has been with Aviacode since 2017. He has 20+ years of leadership experience in the healthcare technology industry across geographically-dispersed organizations that include Concentra, DaVita, QuadraMed, XenatiX, and Misys Healthcare Systems. His knowledge and expertise in software development and quality assurance include functional areas of planning, developing, testing, implementing, supporting, and monitoring software solutions aimed at improving productivity, expanding capabilities, and supporting strategic global business plans.

Katie Robin is the Vice President of Facility Coding. In her role, she is responsible for overseeing the work of the facility medical coders, and ensuring that they deliver the high quality and production standards for our client partners.

Katie has been with Aviacode since 2013. She has 15+ years of experience in the healthcare industry, including serving as director of medical records at a large academic health system. She has specialized in Health Information Management including facility inpatient and outpatient coding, auditing, compliance and revenue cycle management. She has been a speaker at numerous AHIMA state conferences, as well as been featured in articles in For the Record magazine among others.

Jenny Cox

VP Professional Fee Coding

Jenny Cox is the Vice President of Professional Fee Coding. In her role, she is responsible for overseeing the work of the professional fee medical coders, and ensuring that they deliver the high quality and production standards for our client partners.

Jenny has served in a managerial coding role at Aviacode since 2010. She has 20+ years of experience in the healthcare industry, including having worked at AAPC and at physician-owned practice for five years. She is a subject matter expert of multi-specialty evaluation and management services, in addition to creating and presenting training for physicians and coders where she has managed coding for private practices, group practices, and large teaching facilities. She has been a speaker at numerous AAPC and AHIMA conferences and webinars.
